Ms. Dolly George

Dolly George is an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She completed M. Phil in 1983 from JNU. Before that she finished her post graduation in Arts from Punjab University, Chandigarh (May 1979). She is a professional mentor, trainer in the area of Business Ethics & CSR.

She has worked as Admissions Counsellor and Student Advisor with the Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF), New Delhi. The ISBF is an undergraduate institute offering an "External Programme" in Economics (University of London), managed and quality controlled by the London School of Economics (LSE). She served as Managing Director of a Private Limited company where her key responsibilities included re-structuring management, re-aligning of priorities and building a new business model aimed at achieving a financial turn-around.

She was a Teacher and was holding administrative position at the Kodaikanal International School. She was also a Coordinator (Administrative Head) and Activities Co-ordinator, Middle School. She was a mentor for student teachers from St. Olaf, Minnesota. She worked as "Administrative head" of the Kodaikkanal Christian School, a residential school in the Matriculation & Higher Secondary streams. During 1983-1984 she was a Lecturer for post-graduate and undergraduate students at the Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.

Besides her experience in academics processes, she expanded her horizons and founded and managed an export-import logistics company during 1987-1995 that grew into a Private Limited Company. This expanded into a total logistics services company with all-India branch operations and overseas associations. During 1984-1986 Dolly was in charge of the Foreign Trade Policy desk of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi. 

She was actively involved with the Social Experience Program at Kodaikanal International School, Planning and implementation of Out of Class activities with well-defined learning goals, for Middle School students, setting up an early intervention and support program for students with special needs, Peer facilitation and Peer Support Programs for High School students, NESA workshop for Middle School teachers Singapore in March 2000 and also been a Member, Governing Council, Mother Teresa Womens University, Kodaikanal.
